ALEXYS Monoamines Analyser

Antec Leyden has developed integrated system solutions for the analysis of noradrenaline, dopamine, serotonin and metabolites. Method is suitable for analysis in microdialysates, or tissue homogenates after sample prep. Our analysers are optimised for small sample volumes and picomolar detection limits.

Configuration

For the Monoamines analyser we selected the VT03 electrochemical cell. This cell not only has an excellent reproducibility but also the best possible detection sensitivity. We routinely inject 2-8 無 with a maximum sample use of less than 10 無, therefore we selected a micro version of our AS 100 autosampler. We use a 1 (or 2) mm ID column at 50 (or 250) 無/min.

The ALEXYS system comprises the following parts:

  • AS 100 autosampler, cool, micro
  • LC 110 HPLC pump
  • OR 110 organiser rack
  • Clarity data acquisition software
  • DECADE II electrochemical detector, DCC
  • VT cell with GC WE, ISAAC
Depending on the configuration column switching valves are included where necessary.
